Rubel Jumps to Wordpress

August 23rd, 2007 by Sterling Hager

wordpressSteve Rubel, blogger extraordinaire over at micropersuasion.com has announced that he will be moving his blog from its current TypePad platform and will be switching to Wordpress.

In my opinion, it is a decision that he will never, ever regret.

Speaking from personal experience across multiple blog platforms such as TypePad, Blogger, LiveJournal and SquareSpaces, I have found Wordpress to be far and away the best.

It's open source, which means there are thousands of developers worldwide working 24/7 to make this blog platform better and more secure. Although Wordpress is extremely powerful out of the box, the true power of this publishing tool comes from the extended functionality of the plugins. These add-ons allow users to have limitless customization on their blog and the ability to tailor it to many specific needs.

Nice move, Steve. I know the Wordpress community is happy to have you on board.
